Board Posting Terms
These terms apply when you post a rental board (house, flat, hostel, PG or commercial space) on TOLET. You accept them each time you submit a board. A TOLET board is public: renters find it on the map and contact you directly, so some of what you enter is shown to everyone. These terms add to our general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Who can post
Only post a property you own, manage, or are authorised by the owner to rent out.
The phone number on the board must be yours or one you have permission to use. Do not post anyone else’s phone number or details without their permission.
What is shown publicly
The board location as a pin on the map, along with the address and locality you enter.
Your phone number, so renters can call or message you directly. There is no broker in between.
The board details you add: rent, deposit, type, photos, visiting hours and notes.
By posting, you agree that this information can be shown publicly on TOLET so renters can reach you.
What a board must be
A real property that is actually available, with honest rent, deposit, charges and details.
Photos must be of the actual property or its TO-LET board. Do not use stock images, other people’s photos, or photos of people.
Not allowed: fake or already-rented properties, bait prices, asking renters for a token or booking amount before they visit, and boards that discriminate unlawfully.
Review and proof
Every board is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may ask for ownership proof (for example an electricity bill) and may ask for changes or reject a board.
Changes to photos on a live board are checked again before they show.
Fee
Posting a board costs ₹99 (or the fee shown in the app when you submit). There is no online payment: after approval our team contacts you and collects it manually, and the board goes live for 60 days once payment is confirmed. To renew after it ends, request a renewal and pay again.
If we reject a board in review, nothing is charged. The fee is non-refundable once the board is live. Any free period is given only by our team, at its discretion.
Keeping it current
Mark your board rented or hide it as soon as it is no longer available. Boards that are not confirmed for a long time may be taken down automatically.
Renters can report a board that is wrong or no longer available.
What stays private
Your account and login details are never shown on the board.
Ownership proof you upload is only seen by our review team.
Our role
TOLET only shows your board to people looking for a place. We are not a broker or agent and are not part of any rental agreement, deposit or payment between you and a renter.
We may hide or remove boards, or suspend an account, after complaints or when we suspect fraud, abuse or false information.
