We collect only what is needed to run map-based rental discovery, phone sign-in, owner posting, moderation, and support.
Information we collect
Phone number, profile name, listing details, approximate listing coordinates, uploaded verification documents, reports, call/reveal events, and basic device/session data.
Your device location, if you allow it. The app asks once when you first open it, and the browser asks when you tap “use my location”. You can refuse and still use TOLET normally by choosing a city instead.
If you are signed in and have allowed location, we also save the place you last opened TOLET from. We keep only the most recent point, never a history or a trail of your movements, and it is recorded at most once a day while the app is open. We never track you in the background or when the app is closed.
How we use it
To sign you in, show relevant boards, help owners manage listings, detect stale or abusive boards, review KYC/ownership signals, and improve reliability.
We use your location to open the map where you are and show the boards and jobs nearest you, and, in aggregate, to see which towns and areas people are searching from so we know where to add coverage.
Sharing
Phone numbers may be revealed for legitimate renter-owner contact. We may share information when required by law, to prevent abuse, or with vendors that help operate the service.
Your location is never shown to owners, employers or other users, and we do not sell it or use it for advertising.
Choices
You can update your name, close your listings, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
You can turn location off at any time in your phone or browser settings. TOLET keeps working, it just starts on the city you pick instead of where you are, and we stop recording where you opened it. Deleting your account removes the saved point with it.
